I had assistance today finishing up hand stitching on a piece of raw silk that will be shibori'd. I've been working on it for several days now, but with BeeGee's help I was able to get it done today. Will dye it tomorrow and then do a number of surface design treatments afterwards.
I'm progressing on my current weaving -- it's the same size as the painted warp piece, but because it's a twill design, it's taking longer due to the greater number of picks per inch than plain weave. So this piece is seeming to take a small lifetime.
